The USA Junior Golf Federation was founded in 2025 with a clear mission: to prepare aspiring junior golf athletes to play collegiate golf by providing unencumbered educational and athletic opportunities, regardless of age, race, or socioeconomic background, while developing core values of hard work, integrity, honesty, discipline, and resilience, that will support their journey to become the best version of themselves on the course, in the classroom and in life. For many junior golfers, the path to success is filled with challenges beyond the fairway—high costs of coaching, equipment, and tournament fees can place a heavy burden on families. Parents can spend upwards of $10,000 a month on training, making it difficult for talented athletes to reach their full potential.

Recognizing this critical need, Roger Knick—Founder of the USA Junior Golf Federation, as well as the creative mind behind The Golf Performance Center & Academy, Junior Golf Hub, and Player Development Index in Ridgefield, CT—decided to take action. His vision was to create an organization that not only nurtures young talent but also alleviates the financial strain many families face. By establishing the USA Junior Golf Federation, Knick provided a platform where student-athletes worldwide could access consistent, high-quality training and education through a proven methodology, without the overwhelming costs.

The Federation offers scholarships to deserving student-athletes, ensuring that passion and skill—not financial status—determine who gets to pursue their dreams. For parents, this means peace of mind knowing that their children have the opportunity to develop their abilities in a supportive environment that values long-term growth over short-term expenses.

At the USA Junior Golf Federation, we understand the unique challenges junior golf parents face, and we are dedicated to making the journey more accessible, affordable, and rewarding for every family involved.

With over 25 years of experience, our approach has helped thousands of golfers of all levels and ages reach their personal goals. Students from around the world have come to learn the same methods that have helped some of the best players on the LPGA and PGA Tours.
